{"id":82,"date":"2021-02-06T19:31:19","date_gmt":"2021-02-06T19:31:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/amggutter.com\/?page_id=82"},"modified":"2021-03-14T01:53:08","modified_gmt":"2021-03-14T01:53:08","slug":"faq","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/amggutter.com\/index.php\/faq\/","title":{"rendered":"FAQ"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>IS THE ESTIMATE FREE?<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Yes, your first estimate will be free of charge. &nbsp;We will <br><\/strong><strong>provide you with a detailed written estimate at <\/strong><strong>your <br><\/strong><strong>convenience.<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>DO I HAVE TO BE HOME FOR THE ESTIMATE?<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>No, you do not need to be at home for your estimate to be <br><\/strong><strong>done, unless you have some specific <\/strong><strong>problem <\/strong><strong>areas that <br><\/strong><strong>you would like to discuss. &nbsp;However, we are happy to set <br><\/strong><strong>up appointments for you <\/strong><strong>to be at home <\/strong><strong>so <\/strong><strong>you have the <br><\/strong><strong>opportunity to meet with your installer at the time of your <br><\/strong><strong>estimate.<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>HOW WILL I KNOW WHAT IS INCLUDED IN MY NEW GUTTER <br>SYSTEM?<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>At the time of your estimate you will be provided with at <br>package filled with information explaining the installation <br>procedure, and what is included. &nbsp;We also provide you <br>with references and our insurance information<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>HOW MUCH DOES AN AVERAGE GUTTER SYSTEM COST?<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Since each home is different it is hard to give an exact <br>amount, but generally pricing ranges from $600 to $ 1200 <br>for installation. &nbsp;Installing a new gutter system is one the <br>least expensive home improvement projects you can do.<\/strong><\/li><li><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>DO YOU OFFER A WARRANTY?<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>There is a manufacturers warranty on the paint finish for <br>20 &nbsp;years. &nbsp;A copy of that will be provided with your <br>estimate. &nbsp;A.M.G. offers a 2 year warranty on our parts and <br>labor.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>DO YOU HAVE A COLOR TO MATCH MY HOME?<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>We will provide you with a color chart upon request. &nbsp;We <br>offer a large variety of colors to choose from.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN BUSINESS?<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>We have over 35 years of installation experience in the <br>seamless gutter industry.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>CAN MY 100 FOOT RUN BE SEAMLESS?<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Although it is possible BUT NOT RECOMMENDED, some <br>contractors will install gutter in lengths over 100 feet for speed of installation increasing the chance for stress related fastener and\/or tearing of the gutter due to expansion and contraction caused by changes in temperature. &nbsp;Aluminum coil manufacturers recommend <br>installing gutters in lengths of no more than 50 feet. &nbsp;(For example if a 100 foot run of gutter is installed when the temperature is 0 degree Fahrenheit and the temperature increases to 100 degree  Fahrenheit you can expect to see approximately 1 inch of expansion.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>SHOULD MY GUTTERS BE CAULKED TO THE FASCIA <br>BOARD?<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Gutters should never be caulked to the fascia board, top <br><\/strong><strong>or bottom. &nbsp;This can result in rotted fascia <\/strong><strong>board <\/strong><strong>and <br><\/strong><strong>water and\/or ice traveling into your home via the air <br><\/strong><strong>space between the fascia board and <\/strong><strong>the roof <\/strong><strong>sheathing. &nbsp;<br><\/strong><strong>This can create a path for water to back up resulting in <br><\/strong><strong>water damage to the <\/strong><strong>interior and the <\/strong><strong>exterior of your <br><\/strong><strong>home &nbsp;and\/or mold infestation.<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><br><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>IS THE ESTIMATE FREE?
